ACA - The American Chiropractic Association The American Chiropractic Association (ACA), based in Arlington, Va., is the largest professional association in the United States representing doctors of chiropractic. ACA promotes the highest standards of ethics and patient care, contributing to the health and well-being of millions of chiropractic patients.

ICA - International Chiropractors Association The International Chiropractors Association (ICA) is the world's oldest international chiropractic professional organization, dedicated to the growth and development of the chiropractic profession based on its fundamental principles and philosophy.

WFC - The World Federation of Chiropractic The World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) has national associations of chiropractors in 85 countries as its voting members, and represents them and the chiropractic profession internationally. Many individuals and organizations support its work as associate members. The WFC has been a non-governmental organization or NGO in official relations with the World Health Organization (WHO) since 1997, and collaborates with many federations representing other healthcare professions.

Chiropractic in the United States: Training, Practice and Research The Agency For Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR) supported this research to help consumers, policymakers, and health care providers better understand the strengths and limitations of chiropractic care in the United States. The project (grant HS07915) sought to produce a comprehensive and balanced overview of the chiropractic profession and its current and future potential role in the U.S. health care system.
